Hey - How's it goin'?
I've been taking great advantage of what I think may be one of the best kept secrets in town: Sunday Brunch at Thunder Bay Grille. You can eat a ridiculous amount of food for $9.99 and satisfy just about any type of craving. Last week, I had 4 plates of food, ranging from biscuits & gravy, build-your-own omelettes, and pastries to jambalaya, roast beef, and alfredo pasta. My husband, who decided to go on the Atkins diet the following day, decided to engorge in a plate of only carbs - 3 waffles with different types of fruit, topped off with hot syrup. While he was at it, he threw a couple of desserts in as well. I wonder why my clothes feel tight?

Back in the day, my mom used to take us to Sears Roebuck - a pre-modern shopping mall situated on the Rock River. Invariably, there would be an announcement on the PA requesting that "Sarah return to her mother at the first floor escalator."
These days the old Sears building is home to the Discovery Center Museum, a fantastic hands-on learning environment for kids of all ages. The Discovery Center is just of many attractions that make up the Riverfront Museum Park. And don't worry; there are plenty of interactive exhibits that make wandering away from the group perfectly acceptable.
